Catch up

So this is me trying to play a little catch up. A big assortment of photos from my phone. I try to take one every day and send it to Grandma T so these are from that.

This is what I see when I go to check if she's napping or not

How she got here, I do not know
Another one bites the dust

She was so happy that she got to sit in the chair by herself hehe

A little tangled

Wren is no doubt going to be a musical child

This was Spencer's rocking horse!

These are so adorable but kind of ridiculous

She didn't like where she ended up

Just helping with laundry, no biggie
Never fails to find the tag on something even if she has to flip the rug over

Dad even shares his toys

7months and has already slept with a boy haha

Gardening

Mum was out for a week which was amazing. We were super busy, went shopping in the states, pickled carrots, gardened, and more shopping and such. This is mostly about our gardening day. Lane built a big raised bed in the morning and by noon we were shoveling soil into it and planting our assortment of veggies! Sorry the pictures are kind of in the wrong order.

Wren and Moxie were best of friends the whole time. Moxie would come and check up on Wren every once in a while, was so cute.

Six months

So I've been putting off this post for a while mostly because I'm just not ready to officially come to terms with it, but the inevitable here: Wren is SIX months!!! And it's not that 6 months really seems like a lot, it's more that 6 months is half way to a year and that seems like a lot. Lane keeps a little journal for her, mostly holding her little milestones like smiling, rolling over, cooing etc. and it's incredible to look back at how much she's grown and come apart of our lives. But just in the last few weeks we've, gotten rid of her soother, put her in her crib (AND her own room: was so scary the first night), fed her more food (can't get enough of bananas), gave her a sippy cup and watched her learn to sit by herself.
She's definitely not a baby anymore. She's getting her own little personality and it's so cool to watch. I've never met a more happy baby, everywhere we go people comment on how big her  eyes and smile are and I love that she can make everyone feel special just with a single smile. She even wakes up with a big smile on her face that you can't help but smile/giggle back.
Couldn't be more spread out, loving all the space.
She grabbed her cup like a pro the first time and brings it straight to her mouth.

She gets this smirk on her face when she sits up, like she's so proud of herself.

Happy Easter

Yesterday was a super de duper day! Since Lane and I have been married we haven't ever celebrated Easter but this year I wanted to get a few treats, arranged in a basket of course. Maybe it's the mother in me now but it sure was fun to open our baskets. We then went out and about as a family coming home before supper. This was Wren shortly after we got home.......enjoy

Baby giggles

I bought some skinny headbands at the dollor store to make into cuteness....this was my attempt so far. Modeled by my favourite baby, Wren!

Life Lately

This is just a bit of everything. We have been really busy lately. Lane's schooling is trucking along as well as mine, Wren and I were sick for a week and we all couldn't be more excited that spring has come!
Eating her first batch of food (carrots).

I love giving her baths, she is just so darn cute. She's learned how to splash now which makes them seem a whole lot more fun!

Lane painting her crib. Yes, she still isn't in her crib (or her own room) yet. We have been figuring out my milk situation first and now starting to wean her off of night feedings. Having solids now for supper helps too.

Well actually I have to confess something. I don't know if I'm the one that is totally ready for her to move into her crib and her own room yet. I think I could be in denial of her growing up.

Ron and Ayla's wedding favors (mini trees) have found a perfect home on our windowsill. They have been growing like crazy!

Wren went for her second round of shots and was weighed again. Almost doubled her weight but not quite.

Waiting for daddy while he got his hair cut. She's a little milk drunk.
